Our Policies - Bottom English Billiards

Bottom English Billiards knows that security is very important to our customers. As such, we use SSL (an internet standard) to protect our customers when they make payments through our website. Never do we pass credit card numbers by email or unsecured in any way, and never do we store unencrypted data. When taking phone orders, we do not retain your credit card information on file. We have also registered with the Louisville, KentuckyBetter Business Bureau along with BBB Online to let our customers know that we take our business seriously.

We may occasionally mail or e-mail special offers to our customers. We never share our customer information with other companies.

Orders are usually processed and ready for shipping within 1 business day of receiving your order. Occasionally, orders may take as long as 2 business days to be processed and prepared for shipment. In some instances, we may drop ship part of or all of your order from a distributor or manufacturer. If this occurs, we will notify you about how your order has been shipped.

We occasionally use UPS ground shipping if it costs less to do so. UPS provides insurance up to $100.00. If we use UPS, you will receive a tracking email from www.ups.com.

8% of our orders are shipped with the United States Postal Service. We use online Priority Mail shipping so you will receive an email from www.usps.com with a tracking number for your shipment. On some small orders such as DVDs, Video Tapes, or a single T-shirt that weigh less than one pound, we will occasionally use a Priority Mail stamp and in that case you will not receive a confirmation email.

Parcels shipped to Alaska or Hawaii will be sent via USPS. Please keep in mind that it costs more to ship to these two states and we must pass that cost along to you. 1 pound shipments or shipments that will fit in a Flat Rate Box will not be charged for additional shipping. If you like, send us an email describing your order and give us your zip code. We will be able to provide a shipping price prior to your order.

Bottom English will not process any International or Puerto Ricoorders until we receive a signed copy of your order and pre-approve the order. If you have a question about this policy, please contact us. After you place your order, please fax a signed copy to 502-267-0604 or you can mail a signed copy to PO Box 99917, Louisville, Kentucky, 40269. We will not ship any orders that have a United States Billing address and an international Shipping address. Those orders will be cancelled and the credit card will not be charged.

If you receive an item you don’t like, it can be returned. You will be responsible for the return shipping to us and once we receive it, we will contact you to obtain your credit card information (we do not keep CC info on file) so a credit may be issued. The credit must be placed on the same credit card that was used to originally purchase the order. If you need to return a Cue Stick, a 15% restocking fee will be imposed.If you are returning a T-Shirt or shirts that don’t fit properly, the shipping for the replacement item will be at our expense. You will only need to take care of the shipping to us. We recommend USPS Priority Mail (the Post Office will give you free boxes for shipping if you ask them).

Cue sticks must be inspected by the buyer as soon as they arrive. A chalked cue stick cannot be returned except for warranty service or warranty concerns. Chalking a new cue indicates acceptance by the customer. Please assemble your stick and roll it on a pool table or flat surface to verify your purchase. You will notice that most cue sticks have been removed from their original packaging. Bottom English test assembles and verifies straightness on most cues ordered except for very inexpensive 1-piece house cues. When it leaves our shipping center, you can be assured that you have a quality shipment on the way!

If you wish to return any merchandise to Bottom English, you must contact us via telephone or email first within 7 days of receiving your order. Also, we will not pay for any return shipping charges of any returned merchandise. Any credits issued will be in the form of a Bottom English store credit only. If a shipment is returned that is damaged, no credit will be issued.

At Bottom English, your satisfaction is important to us. If we make a mistake on an order, we will correct it whether it is a $5.00 or $500.00 order. That’s simply how business should be done and we take it very seriously.
